Oliver H          A real team player a battler who plays anywhere for the team.

Ross         Good engine skilful two footed with an eye for a goal, team penalty taker.

Oliver K               Quick feet with a great shot in both feet.

Emmanuel        Bags of pace to burn. Tricky on the ball.

Derrell        Comfortable holding midfielder in the scholes mould

Matt P  Energetic whole hearted forward, brave as they come top goal scorer 06\07.

Nick              Bags of pace to burn frightens defenders into mistakes.

Steve               Holds ball up well and sniffs out goals in the box.

Taniya                     Big Strong bustling forward.

Jack          Versatile forward, always likely to score.

Holywell Were formed in the year 1999.

 

In 2003 when we went to 11-a-side we finished 2nd in Division 4 of the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League. We were then promoted to Division 2.

At the end of that season we won the Rubery Juniors 5-a-side cup. We also won the St Johns, Tamworth 5 a-side competition. We were semi-finalists in the Callowbrook 5 a-side.

After several barren seasons we were beaten finalists in the Maypole cup in 2007. We were semi-finalists in the Redditch Cup and also in the Callowbrook competition (Again!)  We won the Rubery Community and Leisure Centre cup.
